Prof. Beyuo Tops Sampled Upper West MPs’ Approval Ratings Again with 60%

The Member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency, Prof. Titus Kofi Beyuo, has once again emerged as the best-performing MP in the Upper West Region in the latest constituents’ approval survey conducted by Global InfoAnalytics in September 2026.

According to the survey, Prof. Beyuo recorded a net approval rating of 60 percent, maintaining his position at the top of the regional rankings for the second consecutive time. The first survey was conducted in June 2026.

The research, led by Musah Dankwah, assessed constituents’ approval of Members of Parliament across 83 constituencies nationwide.

The September findings placed Prof. Beyuo ahead of his counterparts in Nadowli/Kaleo and Nandom constituencies, who recorded net approval ratings of 20 percent and -22 percent, respectively.

The results indicate that Lambussie recorded the highest MP net approval rating among the three constituencies featured in the Upper West Region, followed by Nadowli/Kaleo, while Nandom recorded a negative rating.

Speaking on the outcome of the survey, Prof. Beyuo described the recognition as welcome news and expressed appreciation to his constituents for the confidence they had shown in him.

He, however, stressed that the positive rating would not distract him from his commitment to fulfilling the social contract he entered into with the people of Lambussie ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The MP emphasised that his focus remained on delivering on his promises and working to address the development needs and aspirations of his constituents.

His repeated appearance at the top of the regional rankings comes amid continued public expectations for elected representatives to demonstrate accountability, effective representation and tangible development outcomes.

The September 2026 survey also compared the approval ratings of the MPs with those of President John Dramani Mahama in the three constituencies. It recorded President Mahama’s net approval at 65 percent in Nandom, 84 percent in Nadowli/Kaleo and 62 percent in Lambussie.

While the presidential figures placed Nadowli/Kaleo at the top for President Mahama, Prof. Beyuo’s 60 percent rating made Lambussie the leading constituency for parliamentary approval in the Upper West Region.
